Sour Cream Apple Pie

Good warm, cooled, with or without ice cream, this yummy pie is almost like a cheese cake!

Ingredients

  • Crust
    • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • Filling
    • 2 cups finely diced Apples
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 egg
  • Topping
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/3 cup flour
    • 1/4 cup butter

Directions

  1. Combine all filling ingredients and mix well, pour into shell. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
  2. For topping, stir together flour and brown sugar, cut in butter. Remove pie from oven and sprinkle on topping, bake 20 additional minutes
