Peach Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Dumplings
    • 2 whole large peaches
    • 2- 8oz crescent rolls
    • 2 sticks of butter, melted
    • 1-1/2 cups of sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
    • Cinnamon, to taste
    • 1- 12oz can of Mountain Dew or Sprite
  • Icing
    • 1/2 cup powder sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    • 4 teaspoon of milk

Directions

Dumplings
  1. Peal and pit peaches. Cut both into 8 slices.
  2. Roll each slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered 9 by 13 pan.
  3. Add sugar to melted butter and barely stir. Then add vanilla, stir and pour over peaches.
  4. Pour soda of choice around the edges of pan.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Icing
  1. In a small bowl mix together powder sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  2. Drizzle over cooled dumplings, serve with ice cream and enjoy!!!
