Ingredients

  • Danish and filling
    • 2 Crescent Roll Tubes
    • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
    • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
    • 1 - 8oz. Package of Cream Cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • Peach pie topping
    • 1-1/2 cups of sliced and diced peaches
    • 2 tablespoons of flour
    • 1/3 cup of sugar
    • Dash of cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
  • Icing
    • 1/2 cup powder sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 4 teaspoons of milk

Directions

Danish and filling
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a mixing bowl mix together softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Set aside.
  3. Open crescent rolls and place triangles together, on an ungreased cookie sheet, to form rectangles ( you should have 8 rectangles total ). Pinch the seams together to seal your triangles into rectangles.
  4. Brush melted butter over the rectangles and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of brown sugar over each.
  5. Take each rectangle and roll from the long side, forming a log. Pinch ends together to form a circle out of each log.
  6. Use your fingers to press the centers flat and stretch out the sides a bit, so that the cream cheese filling will fit in the center of each.
  7. Fill centers with 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese filling.
  8. Bake in preheated oven 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
Peach pie topping
  1. Mix together sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  2. Sprinkle over diced peaches, mix together, and place in a small pan.
  3. Cook over medium heat until it starts to bubbles. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  4. Spoon slightly cooled peach topping over the baked cream cheese filling.
Icing
  1. Mix together powder sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  2. Drizzle over finished danish and enjoy!
